i guess i'm the only one that thought: what comes first is going to soon be replaced by something better.

Well, I think Sprint saying "The first 4G phone" is enough to make people want to do some research to find out what the hell they are talking about. How many ads have you seen where companies try to give the impression their phone is the say all to end all???

I can honestly say that im not mad at the commercial. Is it the best commercial? No. Is it the worse commercial? No, not at all. Is it a good starting point to get a buzz? I think it is and they made sure to point out the biggest sell of this phone which is that its a 4g phone.

As long as Hesse doesnt show his face in any commercial about the Evo, than I am good with it.

I also like that it is on at prime time and on non cable tv channels.

I thought the commercial was pretty good. People, do know that most television company only like for commercials to be less then half a minute right? Even youtube tell the people they pay to make sure there videos aren't too long.

Exactly, because i'm guessing that 3/4th of the people who watched that commercial or have seen the advertisements aren't as nearly into HTC's smartphones as us! Which really broadens the syndication of that commercial by a long shot.

wow, what a horrible commercial. and people wonder why the iphone is so popular... may have something to do with the advertising and actually showing what the phone can do. most people have no ****ing clue what 4g is.

Well your opinion is counted as well. But not something most people will wan't to hear.

The reason why they seriously emphasized the 4G in this commercial is because a 1UP from anything in the technology field is a huge jump!
So when those iPhone3G guru's and kool-aiders actually hear about our new 4G, they will go directly to sprint.com/evo and be transformed from their OS CRAP to Android.
