This question will always be an impossible question to answer accurately. First of all whats considered normal to me maybe different to you. There is also location, signal strenth, radios and so many determining factors that can help or rape your battery. But to fairly answer your question, with these type of phones, if you gonna use them on a regular you probably gonna need a quick midday charge to make it through the whole day comfortably.

Re: battery life good or bad

I'm able to get around 20 hours when I use it only when I need it. If there's a day that's packed full of conferences and I'm bored enough to surf the web for hours, it knocks it down to about 10 hours. If I'm going out afterwards, I need a second battery to last through the night.

Re: battery life good or bad

I have my EVO for about 3 days now,the battery life is pretty much the same compare to my TP2.I did a test yesterday to stream internet radio on both devices,TP2 lasted 3 hours 50 minutes vs EVO 3 hours 43 minutes both on good 3G coverage.

Re: battery life good or bad

1500mAH Battery isn't much these days....it's pretty much the standard for Smartphones. The Touch Pro 2 has the same battery if my mind serves me correctly...so I'm expecting the same if not a little worse with the Evo 4G. Like I've said in previous post I will be buying a 2nd battery, or a extended battery for the Evo so no big deal there.
