Re: Lucking Out - Evo 4g for 50 $$$ no contract!
one thing , but not 100% sure on this. when you get a phone on one line if you change it to another the insurance won't follow. yea sprint will charge you and most of em won't know any better. but when you need it , you'll get " oh sir it appears your ineligible for replacement"

You shouldn't have an issue activating it, whether in store or online I am sure it will prompt for the $10 add on. Also keep in mind that if y'all want to get the mail in rebate for the evo then it would need to be on her line for atleast 30 days if I am not mistaken.

If your sister activates the Evo on her account, then you activate the EVO Esn on your account, you just threw out your manufatures warranty...Warranty's don't transfer with the phone unless they stay on the account they were originally activated on. Now you may be able to get TEP for it..not entirely sure though...but before all this goes down I would call Sprint and talk to them and make sure everything will work out.

Sprint insurance isn't an issue. If you have insurance on the TP2 right now, it will transfer over. If you have no insurance now, you can get insurance when you switch phones. It's either 14 or 30 days you have to get insurance after activating a phone on your account (new, used, whatever). A long time ago, I didn't get insurance before that period, so I activated an old Sprint phone I had laying around. I then switched back to the other phone and was able to add TEP insurance.
