Sprint insurance isn't an issue. If you have insurance on the TP2 right now, it will transfer over. If you have no insurance now, you can get insurance when you switch phones. It's either 14 or 30 days you have to get insurance after activating a phone on your account (new, used, whatever). A long time ago, I didn't get insurance before that period, so I activated an old Sprint phone I had laying around. I then switched back to the other phone and was able to add TEP insurance.
