Yes. $36 new activation, $18 upgrade. Will post to your Sprint bill. Waived if you are Sprint Premier or credit union member. I think they are required to activate it or they don't get credit.

so if i am using a $75 upgrade, and going to an everything plan, i shouldn't get charged?

You have to already be Premier. If you're just now switching, then yes you still have to pay.

If you are a premier customer upgrading your phone there is no activation fee.

If you do get an activation fee, it goes on your Sprint bill, you do not pay it up front.
