Re: Radioshack Charge Activation fee?
I am a radioshack corporate manager and I can tell you that first of all it is Sprint that charges activation fees not Radioshack, secondly all htc evos sold unless bought outright must be activated in the store, and third if you only have a $75 credti your gonna pay at least $425 for the phone. The good news is if you come on launch day between 6a-9a you will get some extra perks most stores with Evo pre orders are opening @ 6am......

Re: Radioshack Charge Activation fee?
You wont be able to # swap unless sprint will do it after activation or you have a dummy esn to use. The evo's will only activate OTA so only the # that is eligible for upgrade will get that phone for at least the first 30 days.......

What is the easiest, least messy way to accomplish this vrdude? Can I go to sprint right after RS activates it on the same line being upgraded then switch things back? |

Re: Radioshack Charge Activation fee?
Seriously...Sprint charges activation charges on new phone activations? Even if you already have service? I know from the place I work the only time you get a activation fee is when you start up a new line of service, not an exsisting one. Either way, I am a Sprint Premier Member so I won't have to worry about that come August 1st.

Re: Radioshack Charge Activation fee?
RadioShack has the ability to waive the activation fees associated with the phone purchase but it is up to them and thats one of the reasons why they don't let you activate the phone yourself but you can ask for the phone and OTA it in store and that will be that. The same thing they will do...
