I "pre-ordered" today and was told I was like #18 at my Best Buy Store.

Also, has everyone checked out http://www.bestbuytradein.com/bb/ to see what they can get for their phones as a trade in? Best Buy in GA will take a phone not sold originally at a Best Buy location.

My Pre is estimated to bring in $107 credit that I can apply to my EVO purchase.

yeah its different everywhere, its not going to be the same. if the incredible and hd2 sold out, i don't see why people don't believe the Evo will sell out. Oh well i got mine for sure, all those who think they will be readily available good luck!!!

Keep in mind that the iphone can only be bought at an aple store or att store. Evo can be bought at best buy, walmart, radio shack, sprint store... I didn't even know radioshack was selling this phone until I read it on here and then immediately preordered it. I imagine similar things are occuring elsewhere with radioshack people are just not aware (and yes this includes employees making minimum wage). Bestbuy is sold out already for preorders on June 4th in my area. Different retailers have different strategies and we as consumers have multiple choices whereas iphone you only had a couple.

The HD2 only sold out because each store had like 2 in stock. I still have not seen an incredible or an HD2 yet in public.

Saw my first HD2 in public a couple weeks ago, some girl I work with. Before the Evo announcement I would have been all over it, but I just saw she had it and thought to myself, "Naw, I'll have me an Evo soon, no need to play with that now." lol
