4g/WiMAX Rollout/Coverage Map!?

Hi everyone, although the Evo blows my mind in NEARLY every way conceivable (read: no hard ware keyboard) it has mostly gotten my attention regarding the 4G capabilities...

This got me to thinking about something... are there any publicly accessible maps online, or cities listed chronologically regarding 4G roll-out and availability? I Google'd my heart out, and only found rumors and a Clear color-coded map of CURRENT cities online.

If you read up on Sprints website you will notice that they are going to realease more 4G areas by years end.

I apologize, I used 4G as an all inclusive term, and meant to say LTE, as I am with Verizon.

Ahhh, you're right! I looked through it quickly, and it had a ton of spelling errors. Although, if you Google iPhone 4g/Verizon, a lot of results populate purporting that it is inevitable.

I am deleting it from my original post if you'll do the same in your quote of mine, so we don't send PPC users to the site. Thanks for bringing that up!

I was referring to Verizon's 4G coverage area availability and rollout, not Sprint, or any set of devices, just the availability of 4G speeds across the country so I can estimate when it might be offered in my area.

HTC Evo is a sprint exclusive phone...might wanna try another forum that has verizon to get your answer more quickly.

I think users are a bit confused about your question because your talking about the EVO (a sprint only phone) on the verizon network which does not offer 4g at the moment.

you could have a google I/O phone and be using it on sprints 4g network.

No... it's totally my fault. Ha! I forgot I started this thread under the EVO device sub-forum. I kept wondering why everyone continued to offer advice regarding Sprint's 4G network, oh boy... (slaps self on forehead)

At any rate, I really appreciate all the awesome help and feedback, and I'm pretty sure it will be a while until a full roll-out of a high speed cellular network is available in my area anyway
