Google voice vs visual voicemail?

The stock visual VM works like this. Say you were to have 5 VMs you open the app and you can pick and choos which one you want to hear because they are Dled to the phone as audio files. But it doesnt transcribe them, you can only listen.

I thought the same thing when the Instinct came out. The name is sort of misleading. Still more "audio" than visual.
