Re: HTC EVO on Sprint Employee Account ?

I can confirm that they will activate the device without any issues. I called the number listed, from my sprint phone (You MUST call from a phone on an employee plan to get to employee accounts) and they swapped it over and added the mobile hotspot feature for me without any issues.

Not that I really care what you believe but its no secret that there are plenty of people here with advantage accounts with an EVO on it.. including me.

First you have to be on an ADVANTAGE account for that number to work.. if you're on that sero thing or free and clear its not the same thing. I cant really help yall with that. But so far everyone with an advantage account that called that number has had no issues.

Re: HTC EVO on Sprint Employee Account ?

does someone have access to FDT? if so we could take a look at someones acct and see what SOC codes were added to make the phone work and replicate it in the system. If i was at work, i would volunteer to do it, but i work at the store like 1 day a mth (basically just to keep my 3pty acct...lol).

And i am in the same boat, if i knew what code to use, i would have the evo 4g on my acct asap as i couldnt get it at BB with it being employee and not having a everything plan

According to what most are saying, you can buy the phone outright and still keep your plan. But if you're trying to upgrade, like myself, you have to wait til some time in July to do so and keep your plan.

Re: HTC EVO on Sprint Employee Account ?

I wonder what i can do ?

Im buying a evo outright today...

I have a free and clear 3000 plan which is a third party plan
no longer work at the place.... so im guessing its listed as a "consumer" now?

it doesnt have EMP Piv data or whatever, it just says sprint data pack 0.00

Can i add on a 10.00 premier package... then activate my evo?

I too have a free & clear 3000 plan. Please keep us posted on whether or not you were able to get the EVO to activate. Thanks

Re: HTC EVO on Sprint Employee Account ?

It's not going to work on the free and clear 3000 plan, when you have that plan I don't think it even gives them an option to add the 10 premium data soc.

I gave up for now... I'll have an EVO eventually! I'm actually using a Moment for now and believe it or not I'm kind of enjoying it..lol decided to root it.

Re: HTC EVO on Sprint Employee Account ?

I am on an Employee Account and I had to get an upgrade from RadioShack (via my wife's account) then I swapped it to my employee account. I was worried that employee care would not swap it, but they did!
