No offense, but to me that sounds a little Ludicrous. Just because you get a new phone, why do they All need a new one one, and why would you feel you were leaving them hanging? When you get a new car, do they All have to have a new car?

ive had the 27% of thing since like july of last year.. has nothing to do with the EVO... i put it in my thread so others could do it because of the EVO though lol..

and yeah, im really getting tired of people trying to judge anyone for any "scam".. we all tether, and talk openly about it.. even when someone says "i want to hook my phone to my comp.....but i dont want sprint to know".. and the solutions/links/flames(lol) start rolling right in like its nothing.. so people just need to relax, be quiet, and enjoy everything thats available to you... we know where to draw the line, were not stealing apps.. WE support developers by paying... were a few 100,000 people out of 100s of millions of subscribers... WE'RE not really making a dent in anything...

if WE/tweakers/hackers/modders/"scammers", were such a significant problem; our carriers could easily locate the source of their problem via the web and sites like these... WE'RE not hard to find.. and WE dont try to hide anything... WE are small, and insignificant in the Big Picture for a Carriers overall Buisness.. like i said, WE'RE not big enough to be hurting them....

sprint has what 30/40 million customers... if a Million of their subscribers "foul played".. that 3%-4% of their base... insignificant in our carriers eyes

I'm not going to say I'm angelic on this deal either (since it originated over on sd.com) but to say it doesn't put a dent in this company's bottom line when it is fighting for every penny to get out of the red, is wrong.

So that's why, it's a game between consumers & providers.
They tweek us with charges, & we tweek them with counter measures.

That's why I find it ludicrous all this nonsense about the extra $10/mos.
It's quid pro quo, tit for tat.
