I am not saying I am going back to the Mogul. I am saying this $10 fee is obviously not because the Evo loads pages faster, lol. If it was, then the Mogul would have a cheaper data plan than the TP2.

its not only because it loads pages, its because it will make web browsing experience 20x better causing you to browse the web more from your phone. the data intensive apps that the android os uses, all of this will cause more bandwidth then with any other of sprints phones ever.

So? What does that have to do with anything? I am already paying for an unlimited data plan right now.

And the TP2 from the Mogul is just as big of an upgrade anyway. WM6.5 is way more data heavy than the WM5 or WM6 (whatever) that the Mogul shipped with. The IE in the TP2 has built in flash support for crying out loud, and the TP2 shipped with a youtube app, weather, and all kinds of stuff that uses data. The Mogul had none of that when it launched.

Clearly, this fee is for 4G.

you're paying for unlimited data on an older type phone, its unlimited data with the phone you have. to have unlimited data with this phone is $10 more.

False. The plan is the same, with a $10 fee added for a "richer media experience."

How do you know what a "richer media experience" means, I could interpret that to mean that when Android Froyo 2.2 that $10 could mean it finds a way to my device faster. Maybe after all the b1tching people did with how long it took for WM6.5 to come out for the TP2 that this is paying to beta the upgrade on a much larger scale so that it can be released faster--although I highly doubt it...

If anyone is to complain about something, maybe someone should actually find out what the "richer media experience" is before condemning it. Why don't you write to Sprint an email and snail mail and share your with this and ask them to outline what your getting for your $10 and why is it different for just this phone. I'd be curious about the response. But again, if rooted and hackable, I really don't mind the fee because I'll make my money back on data rx alone.
