Let them all bitch. We tried to explain to them the reasons if they don't wan to agree, it doesn't matter they will still buy the phone and sprint and htc will profit off this device. The ones complaining the loudest are probably still going to get it, if not they will still be left behind in technology or go to another company and pay more. The time for feeling sorry is over.

I just love how all of these Sprint fanboys have such a narrow vision. Just because someone says Sprint isn;t the ONLY carrier that provides a decent service at a decent price that means you must be a Sprint hater who has already committed to leaving Sprint. LOL, whatever man.

Here's what you said:

#3: If I wanted an iPhone, I would have had one years ago. And if T-Mobile releases a phone I want, I'll go to T-Mobile in a heartbeat.

I have just one question: What changed your mind about the Evo? You said you needed a keyboard.

And to BrownHornet's point, Salty will go to t-mo if they make a phone worth getting.

While I do need a keyboard, I don't have a lot of patience. If there was an Evo with a keyboard, and one without, I'd get the one with the keyboard. But right now the best spec'd phone on the market is the evo, and the best spec'd phone with a keyboard is way down the line. I'm pretty sure we'll have a nice keyboard phone at some point, and I'll probably get it when we do. But for right now, if anyone is looking at getting a new phone the Evo just has to be the one they are looking at.

Can't afford to go??? What are you talking about?

Don't get me started on plan prices again. T-Mobile is actually cheaper than Sprint in a lot of cases.

And for the record, I was paying a lot more on AT&T. You have no idea what I can or can't afford. Just because I don't like getting ripped off doesn't mean I can't afford to leave Sprint.

You can't go because why again?
Cause they are charging for a phone you want but on a network you bad mouth all the time AND supposedly on an inferior platform speedwise & you probably can't even get 4g in your town.

What part of hell is it that you want to leave again?
Is it me or you are into pain?
Or is simply that you can't back up what you say with actions?

The data plan is not technically changing at all.

How do you know what a "richer media experience" means, I could interpret that to mean that when Android Froyo 2.2 that $10 could mean it finds a way to my device faster. Maybe after all the b1tching people did with how long it took for WM6.5 to come out for the TP2 that this is paying to beta the upgrade on a much larger scale so that it can be released faster--although I highly doubt it...

If anyone is to complain about something, maybe someone should actually find out what the "richer media experience" is before condemning it. Why don't you write to Sprint an email and snail mail and share your disgust with this and ask them to outline what your getting for your $10 and why is it different for just this phone. I'd be curious about the response. But again, if rooted and hackable, I really don't mind the fee because I'll make my money back on data rx alone.

i'm double checking the 720p although it does have the same 8MP lens (yes i'm aware that doesn't necessarily mean that it'll record HD) and yes i forgot about the front facing camera but any bets we wont be able to use it unless you're on the 4G network

and in any case 2 marginal items that they can't possible justify $10/month for

It doesn't support it out of the box. That's not to say they won't add the 720p ability in the future. The hardware is there.
