Any word on the full retail price for the EVO?

If there is a local Sprint store that has the EVO in stock they pretty much have to price match. I did not see a clause in their price match policy about cell phones. I have price matched at Best Buy with Radio Shack weekly ads on numerous occasion when buying phones.

You better have some printed material from Sprint stating that their in-store price is $449.99 and it's up to them if they want to call local Sprint stores to make sure it's in stock.

Well the BB I went to confirmed they were doing price matches... and she said I didnt have to have an ad or anything since she had done training with Sprint for the Evo and they had confirmed msrp of $449.99. She's the manager that makes the decisions on whether the store price matches or not and she said she was 100% sure since it was her call. But im guessing it just varies store to store.

Best Buy does instant savings so you don't have to worry about the mail in. Activate on your wifes upgrade walk outside when you're done paying for it and call Sprint and have them switch the ESN # that's what I'm doing.

best buy won't let you leave the store with out activating it, unless you buy it out right... I work there :-/

i will be price matching EVOs and i am not going to spend all day calling to see if the 40 sprint stores in my area have one in stock...
