But hey, it's your money.
I rather use my gift cards on the phone...I must have this phone on Day 1....
Besides I don't go in Sprint store, them azzholes always packed F that

Walk in to sprint and pretend like you want a new line, if you don't actually want a new line wait till they bring the phone out and say you want to pay full retail for it, if that's your plan.

Re: Any word on the full retail price for the EVO?

i went to radio shack yesterday, and they said they wont be selling the phone out right until a month or two after it comes out. my only options unless sprint retail or telesales sells the phone for retail price out right on launch would be to add a line and get the phone, wait 30 days then transfer to my main line, or upgrade my wifes line then transfer to my line after 30 days. but then shed have to use it for 30 days. and id rather just add a line, lol

Pre-order from BB or RS (instant rebate) and upgrade on your wife's line then put it right on your line. You don't have to wait 30 days.

Why would you have to wait? You know that only entitles you $75 of the full retail price, right?

Re: Any word on the full retail price for the EVO?

Well to kill all the questions, BB has no problem selling outright and will price match Sprint @ the $449. I made sure of it before I pre-ordered mine and the lady (cell department manager) told me she just came from sprint's evo training and is price matching at $449. This may vary from store to store but this was in Smyrna @ the Best Buy on Cobb Pkwy.

Yep, most stores will do this. Depends on the management.
