EPRP with Best Buy or Radio Shack preorder?

Can you preorder the Evo from Best Buy or Radio Shack if you are an existing customer on the EPRP plan (without changing your plan)?

no...at least not till June 22 I think is the date and you would have to pay full BB retail which is 699.99

$699.99? Is that official? It seems like the rumor of $449.99 makes more sense considering Sprint's contract prices are often $250 off retail...

June Im not positive on the exact date but it is in june (around the 22nd) and you have to pay the $699.99

Has it been confirmed that the EVO will be held form EPRP until June 22? I know they did the same thing with the Pre and pissed a whole bunch of people off. Just one more advantage of moving to a regular ED plan w/ a corporate discount.

Yea its confirmed... I too have an employee plan and spoke with a specialist for employee accounts last night. She basically told me it wont be available to us PERIOD until June 22nd... and even if you do get it June 22nd youll still have to pay full retail BUT you wont have to pay the $699 unless you go through best buy. Youll be able to get it full retail from Sprint after the 22nd and pay the $450. If you're due for upgrade though it wont be available as an upgrade until Mid July.

Soooooooooo your options are wait til the 22nd and pay $450 or wait until July and use an upgrade. It sucks I know... been trying to find a way around it all week with no haps.

thats the price from BB not Sprint.

I remember last year with the Pre, employees bought it through other channels, but got a nice surprise when they couldn't activate it. Some resorted to getting people they know to open new lines/accounts just so they could get it.

Not that it affects me, but my whole gripe is that wouldn't you want Sprint employees to have it at launch so they could get familiar with it and help customers with questions.
