Put 2 on Pre-order on Thursday, for some reason one per customer, well my wife is on my plan so that makes two for the same account. So now I have 2 pre-orders, LOL! 3 weeks cant come fast enough.

I pre ordered my evo on the first day which was thursday may 13th at Best Buy in chattanooga tn, the reason i purchased it from Best Buy was because they dont make you pay the 100 dollar mail in rebate, they take care of it in the store. So you pay 50 dollars for a gift card that when the phones comes in they will call you and set up an appointment which depending how many have been made since then you might get it on june 4th. I have no idea why sprint would not take care of the rebate at their corporate stores at least. I think they would have sold alot more in house than letting Best Buy take alot of their customers.

just go into your local best buy and ask in the cell phone department to pre order the evo it will cost you 50 dollars plus tax. Then just save your reciept and gift card and they will call you

Only the people who are eligible for the 2 year discount get the additional discount off the phone (which I think is $100) . I believe best buy does not get any kickbacks for renewing someone that is only eligible for $75 off. So it would be 75 off the 600 or whatever their full retail price is. Even through the sprint store it would be $75 off the $450 they are charging.

You may be right about the Best Buy deal, I'm not completely sure.

ether way it's going to be interesting to see how this plays out. Im going through Telesales so I wont have to deal with BB because Im gonna pay full price...no contracts for me...lol

why is there tax??? theres no tax on gift cards... a 50 card, costs 50 bucks.. no tax... shouldnt of been.. i live in MI and its illegal to have a sale without imposing sales tax, if applicable... i went to the Shack yesterday.. my pre order for 50 bucks straight up.. no taxes
