Yeah I am starting to doubt my EVP pre-order... but I am sure it will end up being fine...

I told him if it wasnt going to be here by saturday then i might cancel, cause im going to hitup my local sprint store friday morning and see if i can get the phone from them. and if i do, then im going to cancel my order if its not too late, and if it is, i will just return one of them. but if evp preorder ships tomorrow then ill have no reason to go to sprint store. heres hoping they receive them some time today, and start processing orders and hopefully ship out late tonight, or early tomorrow.

My EVP Rep just got back to me and said:

"It will ship as soon as it becomes available in our inventory. I will email you as soon as it ships out".

I will be mad as hell if it ships out on Friday cuz then I probably won't get it until Monday. So I', stuck with the dilemma of maybe canceling my pre-order thru EVP and trying my luck at a Sprint Store early Friday morning. Ahh why does this have to be so difficult???

Thats exactly how my RS guy was. Pretty much go in at anytime activate and leave. So the question remains if I should even bother with Sprint since I found out that RS will give me the $75 off. At least they are supposed to be able too. It will still be $50 more at radio shack but a lot less hassle.

well if i know for sure that its not being delivered on friday from EVP, i will just hit up sprint store early friday morning, as its on my way to work, and if i can get one i will, if not then i wont worry about it too much. but if i do, then i will just return my EVP one once it gets to me, or return that one. the only other issue will be that if EVP processed the order already they will see that i alread used my discount.

I just got the call from my BBY, I was the 1st one there so i got the 1st appt, 10am

Radioshack just called and I have an appointment for 6 am Friday

. They said they're expecting a lot of buisness for the Evo so they're making appointments for all the pre orders so they get served first. Only 2 days left. Cant wait

RadioShack just called me as well but I need to wait until they open at 9am friday

so yeah she told me they just got my phone in today and I was like can I come get it?! And she was like nope gotta wait till friday. I then wept for awhile and said okay.

haha my RS called to confirm my appt. today as well (9am at open). They also said they got my phone in today but wouldn't let it go, I even tried to bribe them to no avail...ba****ds

Oh well! Atleast I still have an excuse to take an early lunch Friday

Thats weird I wonder why my rs is opening at 6 and everyone elses seems to be opening at 9. They said that as long as any rs got 5 pre orders or more they were supposed to open earlier than 9 am.

I didn't read the whole thread...no time...but EVP said it ships from the Sprint wharehouse, and I've never seen delivery on Sat.

I was thinking the same, but EVP said once the order is placed, I can't cancel. If I dont cancel & show up @ Sprint store Fri morning, they'll see the order from EVP....so my dilemma is, if the order doesn't process by COB Thurs, should I cancel & hope there's plenty @ Sprint? And there's always Telesales.....I see no benefit w/ EVP if they arent shipping till Fri.
