yeah we were all wrong about the no extra charge, damn you sprint, oh well now thats that out, after root access the regular wifi router app will work. hopefully its gets rooted soon.

once an android is rooted, you can download a free app that enables wifi tethering. All androids are rootable except the new incredible. Motorola said going forward all of their phones will not be rootable.

You could always use pdanet for android. Not free but it works all the same.

nobody has sent modaco or cyanogen an incredible to work on, last i heard. modaco or paul said he will not work on it without a device in hand. that is what he told wideawake
