Re: unlock tethering?

Will pdanet work with 4g? Will it create a network that my AirPort can see? I'm not familiar with pdanet. The website doesn't mention if it creates a wifi network that my Macbook can see. I haven't had much luck with bluetooth or usb tethering on the macbook.

I know. These fools act like they've got the phone in their hands ready to do it now.

well they know they'll have it june 4th for sure, some just want to make sure they know what they are getting into, whats so hard to understand. giving up wifi tethering till the phone is rooted is a biggie for alot of people.

Nope, can't tether with the Evo.
At least that's what the Sprint CEO told me.
He also told you 4G would not be more expensive right?

is the rooting a function of the device itself or the os? has anyone been able to tether(usb preferably) any android, and specifically an android 2.1 device?
