Ahhh there are a few but there is a lot of android stuff here too. THIS is the Android specific forum.

I have to thank you for promoting our very own site. I really hope that when the evo drops that our members don't go to other android sites but rather stay here and help ppcgeeks grow even larger. Now I will be honest, when I first got serious about the evo I started hanging around a little longer at another android specific website and honestly that site is being ran like a private school. They are so strict its not even funny, you can't really speak your mind with out someone slapping you on the wrist and alot of favoritism is shown to some members while others are treated like crap. Now I could be wrong but thats what I see for the most part. It also made me realize that the members and the overall atmosphere here at ppcgeeks is alot friendlier and more down to earth than
alot of other sites out there. So lets promote ourselves as not just the best winmo site out there but the best android site as well.

most people know that i love this site, but it's becoming like that here. sorry to say it, but some folks here can say what they want but others can't. that's one of the main reasons i stay behind the scenes now. with carladarla and rainfreak running the android sectoin, you'll be ok!

Well I hope that we can keep it cool here. Sometimes things get out of hand but the rules need to be inforced. But beyond that we try and keep the free flowing ideas of our community where they need to be which is right here. Saying that sometimes people get upset when people don't use the search features or post where they shouldn't but if you ever have a problem just get a hold of me or someone from the MODs and we will do our best to keep our great community GREAT. I like it here much better than the other sites, we are much more laid back here and the "core group" here is much stronger than anywhere else. We can take pride in that!=D>

Well I guess I can understand where you are coming from and for the most part any internet forum will have its fare share of problems but being a member of a few other sites and being a member of this site for 4 years I can honestly say that, as bad as things have gotten in the past, its nothing like what I have seen on other sites.

Yeah, things sometimes do get out of hand like the tp2 hspl release fiasco but for the most part it really doesn't happen that frequently IMO. As far as not searching, well thats something that will always exist, lazy members will be lazy and n00bs will be n00bs, it comes with the territory. But I have definitely enjoyed the last 4 years of being on this site as well as acquiring all the knowlegde I have about winmo, now its time for android and the evo and I can't wait.

Well Ive always been a member of a number of forums for various subject whether it be for phone, computer, entertain etc but even as I do go to some of these android forums just to broaden my knowledge, I couldnt seen myself turning my back on this forum that i check multiple times a day. There are very helpful people here and appreciate all the help and info i got from here and even put on my TP2 friends.

I personally think that with the death of WM and WP7 looking to be unattractive to some, the Android platform will probably get as much love as WM did.
