Semper Fidelis (Always Faithful) is the motto of the Corps. That Marines have lived up to this motto is proved by the fact that there has never been a mutiny, or even the thought of one, among U.S. Marines.

Re: Which OS are you switching from for the EVO?

Well Touch Pro 2 was my 1st smart phone ever. I had all Sanyo phones with Sprint and finally broke down and got the Purple LG Lotus which I still have and I still have my pink Katana DLX.. Then I went with the Pro 2 and liked it alot at 1st but have had problems and had to reset my phone a few times. I think it has to do with something I installed and bet if I hard reset it and let it alone it would be fine. But now I want Android and there's lots more apps and everyone with Android loves it and I can't wait for the EVO. This phone is going to rock... And maybe Win Mo 7 will be great too who knows. I do know my phone was better when I went from 6.1 to 6.5 but I had to reset it once in the past 2 months. So let the EVO hurry up and get here..

im going to be switching over to the evo from a tp2 before the tp2 i had the hero main reason for switching is because the hero didn't have avi playback capabillity, do you guys think that the evo will, theres no an app on the marketplace that will support avi either.

Re: Which OS are you switching from for the EVO?

Blackberry was cool for a while...The OS is boring me to death, RIM needs to step the game up IMO.
My main reason for switching.... I got the chance to play around with my friend's Hero (that had me sold) then I got even more reason to (not that I really need another reason)after trying out a Droid Eris a few weeks ago.

The thought of owning a EVO.....makes me all warm and fuzzy inside

Yeah, and those are Android 1.5 devices. Although awesome, 2.1 is much, much nicer.

Yes! I feel your pain. The hard keyboard was the main reason I went for the TP2. I will miss it. But the screen on the Evo is so large that it will probably be fairly easy to use a digital keyboard.
