Re: Which OS are you switching from for the EVO?

The only reason I'm switching is because there is no good hardware coming out runnin winmo... the windows phone 7 just doesn't sit well with me right now... I already have a zune, no need for 2 If the TP2 wasn't outdated when it came out (in terms of processor), I'd probably stick with it for a while... and since my TP2 is a replacement for my TP1 (after multiple replacements, I kept having the same heating issues and lock ups) I'd probably have waited it out a little longer to see what the final release of WP7 looked like, but since I use my phone extensively for work... I just can't wait. being such an awesome phone helped out with this decesion a lot.

I hear ya, in fact the TP2 for me was what the TP1 was suppose to be. they were almost the exact same phone...lol

Re: Which OS are you switching from for the EVO?

Well I have had to hard reset my Touch Pro 2 three or four times already and it sometimes just lags and stuff doesn't open right away. I know it was my 1st smart phone and it took me forever to get used to win mo and cabs and stuff. But I just know this phone is going to be fast... And I just can't wait to get it. My friend is also getting one coming from a BB.

Touch pro running custom 6.5.3 rom. I already know about swype and stuff.

WinMo was cool and I got real good at it plus I loved all the programs and stuff but now I am all about android.

Re: Which OS are you switching from for the EVO?

Well my Touch Pro 2 has a chip on the side but other than that it works fine. I just listed it on Craigs List just to see if anyone would be interested. Only done Craigs list once and never sold anything off ebay. I will take 150-175 but I posted it for 200 cause I have the AC charger box and book and a Sprint Car Charger and a charging cradle that has an extra battery charger slot. I am giving all that with it. It's worth a try. I was just going to do the buy back in stores but everyone said no you won't get much for it so I am trying this out. I did tell them I am not including the original battery and that I have a generic one I bought online.. The original is a 1500 and can be used with the EVO. The gemeric one is 1400 so I will drop the price some cause of that and of course cause it has a chip on the side. If someone where I live locally said I have 125 cash or 150 I would probably take it cause the store is only giving you 82 bucks. I guess I need to take it in the store and let them see it too. But I can't wait for this phone..
