you guys want marketing but this phone is too damn big to compete with the iPhone. I don't know if most of you are just going off precise measurements or what, but this is not for everyone. Many will think this beast is too big and wait for something a lil smaller

Well i just saw this thread and i got worried with the comments regarding the 150 words being minimum or maximum..... so i went to the rules and:

QUALIFIED ENTRIES: To be qualified for the Contest, the Essay must (a) be in the English language; (b) at least 150 words;

AT LEAST..... so it is clear ..i did not screw up... so since i was not contacted...it means that either i SUCK at writing essays or that i have no contacts whatsoever at Sprint...LOL..... well ...at least i was not disqualified for going aver the 150 words..(like 5 or 6 words over) so i will wait patiently for june 04th and buy the damn thing out of my own pocket!!! (like everyone else!!!)

I remember hearing the same thing about the iPhone when it came out comparing it to phones with smaller screens.

It is impressive how much these guys at Sprint screw dates up...
They do it with Phone updates, with Fixes, ... with equipment release dates... but now they cannot even respect the date for a contest...

Well i will believe the date for the new EVO when i actually see it in the Store... Can you imagine??...we are all her waiting for June 4th...and they don't put it out on that date??? I would be Pissed...LOL ...well it is Sprint.. we are getting used to it!!!

I can't believe they're only going to pick 10 people for putting an effort into their contest when they gave away thousands? for people who just stood in line at I/O Google

And most of those people are selling them on ebay

I read somewhere about those phones coming with a year of free service, was that true?
