Well I'll start with my favorite. Although it's not actually a widget, it's a folder shortcut. It's "Smart Shortcuts". Frees up a lot of space on your homescreen. That's the little android guy on my screen. Click him and a custom folder with the shortcuts of my choosing opens, and you can even pick what icon you want to use for the folder.

Also I have the "Animated Clock Free" widget. Very nice and the second hand works as it should. The "SMS Unread Count" widget shows missed calls, gmail, and unread sms. The last one of interest would probably be the "AccuWeather.com" widget.

in order to use the notification icon on the bottom bar - you have to enable it in the settings BUT - you MUST use the stock messages app...

thats my only bummer about launcher pro - I like to use handcent!

Sure is a lot of work changing each one!!!!!



EDIT: launcher pro came out today with a new update to utilize the notification with ANY sms app !!! about to try this out!

Here is mine but I really wish I could change the carrier name from Sprint to what I wanted. I've seen the tutorial with the CDMA workshop but I can't see spending $100 for the program.

GOD DAMN IT!
You have no idea, I just switched from Sense to ADW! Is LauncherPro that much better? I really would like to use another notification system other than the one I've got rigged up.

Also, does the email notifications work with the regular Sense email application, or only Gmail? And is the lag bad when you have notifications enabled?

Last but not least, I just want to reconfirm this for myself. Since the OTA update, you cannot disable Sense (entirely), correct? I'm sick of having to go to Setting and Manage Applications and force closing the bastard.
