unroot/unbrick via usb

For EVO 4G LTE

Background, I just tried rooting my phone with regew_lienad mod, one touch unlock.
I had hboot 1.19. So I had to manually reset.
I finally got to the part where it was installing the recovery. But I had an issue in installing the recovery and the superuser didn't get installed. I had to reset, and when I did, I tried going into boot loader to get to recovery. But my phone gave me an error that said main "something" version is older. And won't let me do anything but reset.

s there anyway I can unroot/unbrick my phone via USB? Or atleast install the proper hboot... Or get into recovery mode bypassing hboot?

I would rather just get it done right the first time and unroot though.

Thanks for the input ahead of time.

Re: unroot/unbrick via usb

Which guide did you used for the rooting procedure? I've rooted & installed ClockworkMod Recovery on my EVO 4G LTE using this guide: Root and Flash ClockworkMod Recovery on HTC Evo Shift 4G

I think your problem is determined by a wrong rooting procedure. Good luck with your phone!
