Re: Mugen or Seidio extended battery?
I'd just see if you can get the extended cover for the evo and use the extended battery you have from the TP2, they use the same batteries.

really last that much longer than the Seidio 1750Mah that I currently have in my Evo. Thanks for the suggestion. You have been thanked. Ed |

Re: Mugen or Seidio extended battery?
I use the Seidio 3500 mAh battery. It is listed as a LiPo on their web site but when you receive it, the silk-screen on the battery will say LiOn. I called them and they assured me it was LiPo and that the Japs were putting the "old" silkscreen on them. It sounded like BS to me but I tested the battery and decided that the improvement was significant enough to make it a keeper.
As far as the thickness, it means nothing to me. Still is smaller and lighter than the Mogul it replaced. In some ways, I like the more "meatier" feel. The phone feels more rugged. Can't say I performed any formal tests but it is to the point where battery strength is no longer my first priority. With the stock battery, I ran from charger to charger like a horny eel. As it may seem, one of my most common usages is watching full length movies. Last night I watched "Stand By Me" with the wife in bed. Don't recall the batt strength when I started but I did note that it was at 80% when I placed it on the Charger. Remember, 80% means that I still have a long way to go in this batt. I have never had it under 60% that I remember. Like I said, it just isn't an issue that I track. |
