i got mine too. it's class 2. my 16 gig from the droid was class 2 also but passed for a class 4.

Class level of the card makes a huge difference.

It's start off swell, then when the card is almost filled up with files, it starts to slow down cause the phone takes longer to buffer/load the files to be recognize, thus thats why there are different classes of the SD,MicroSD..and so forth...

People have said that it makes no difference of classes, but it does. Just an FYI.....

yeah doing 15 gb w/ a class 2 might take 2 hrs vs class 6 taking 40 minutes.

but hopefully people aren't making huge transfers very often, just maybe the initial transfer of files.

got my shaq today too...why is it that on most cards as soon as u plug em in BEFORE u even add anything to them they always show less mem than the actual card size?...my 32 shows 29 out the box

29~ is available for storage, but a portion is set aside for the system to handle the files.

That's always the case, even with hard drives and such.
