I totally screwed up my 3D trying to replace screen. Luckily for me, my Tech buddy at the sprint Store simply ordered me a replacement. And luckily it was Hboot 1.40 so I'm still (EASILY) rootable. So I'm back up and running and rooted.

Unless I missed it, the video instructions doesn't really show where the ribbon cable from the screen goes into or comes out of. So I did some damage trying to get the old one out and the new on in the slot that it goes through.

Also, I did my own damage to the clip that holds one of the ribbon cable from the motherboard. I broke the clip so the cable doesn't stay in by itself anymore.

I haven't done any soldering since 6th grade so I just said forget it. Talked to my sprint buddy, and he just took care of it for me.

I'm just thankful that I got an older version of the device so I could easily root since my original one was received a week after launch day. My friend got a replacement device with H Boot 1.5 and still can't root.
