Syncing Google Accounts

Has anyone had this problem....

All of my settings are correct. Sometimes, my account doesen't sync to my phone.

I add something online, and it doesn't sync to phone. And visa versa.

I manually go to Menu/Settings/Accounts, google account, and manually snyc. But nothing happens. I don't even get the spinning wheels telling me it's syncing.

A lot of times, it will not sync unless I power phone off. Then power back up.

It's happened with my EVO and my 3D. While not rooted and while rooted.

Has anyone had this problem and does anyone have a fix for it?
