Syncing Google Accounts
 

Has anyone had this problem....


All of my settings are correct. Sometimes, my account doesen't sync to my phone.

I add something online, and it doesn't sync to phone. And visa versa.

I manually go to Menu/Settings/Accounts, google account, and manually snyc. But nothing happens. I don't even get the spinning wheels telling me it's syncing.

A lot of times, it will not sync unless I power phone off. Then power back up.

It's happened with my EVO and my 3D. While not rooted and while rooted.

Has anyone had this problem and does anyone have a fix for it?

I really need some help on this. Anyone? I've added new accout and no syncing. 80+ views and no reply.

Where are the super users lol

try synching it with the exchange server instead of google...
just add an exhange activesync account under accounts and sync... and go to manual set up.

let me know if it works.. it should be better because it will be push email.. so you get notified as items arrive..

Thanks. But since I didn't get any response, I took the plunge and hard reset. Both accounts are working now. I'm using Titanium back up to get most of my settings and apps back.

I didn't really care about the email push. Just the contacts and calander was what was really needed in both devices.
