more evo 3d problems

Okay well i'm starting to think maybe either this is a defective phone line or I'm just having bad luck or something else is going on. Does anyone have the issue where you go into the music player on the evo 3d and it locks out of sense and just completely restarts itself after the screen stops working? I mean this is pretty crazy! any thoughts? (Keep in mind this is my 2nd evo 3d, first ones headphone jack was defective).

Got first phone launch day. Seemed many problems with data connection at certion times of days then more problems too phone in 18th techsaid ohone was on list to replacr. Second phone data and phone calls volume were worse.. Tested and tild me phone eas nit getting signal , on 3rd since 20th seems much better. Still hardwae 2.

i have the same evo 3d since the launch date not a single issue for mine . or my wifes for either. weird.

Im on my second. Both get less than excellent reception but livable. Other than that I have had ZERO real issues with the phone.

EDIT: I returned my first one because I dropped it and scratched the aluminum case. Yep, Im that guy.

There is aluminum? The back case is cheap plastic.

This aluminum frame that is on the front and sides of this phone is a really bad move by HTC... ive been xtra careful especially for my thirty day period... and rite ontop of front speaker there is a little white spec, it isnt a dent or scratch but a white small mark.. I see more problems to come with this aluminum front... And im not the one who likes wearing rubbers for protection i like my phone naked and just wear a phone holder on belt.. this is just another problem for the evo3d.... this along with the signal.,heat issues maybe because of radio, stupid sensative cheap power button.. all making me go back to my e4g... never had any of those issues i just mentoned.

I'm sad to hear all of the issues and problems people are having with the Evo 3D I was lucky to get one that only has the quieter-than-desired external speaker thus far; I love this thing, probably too much. I was the first to get one from my store here on launch day too.

I had a couple of lock ups, but I'm not sure if it's my phone or badly written apps.

As far as defects go, I have a dead pixel and a spec of dust under the glass. How are you guys getting Sprint to take it back? They are giving me the "it doesn't effect the functionality of the phone" bs so I either have to pay restocking or live with it.

My phone is naked with no protection. It still look great and fine.

I took this phone to MSP and it crash a few times. Back to ATL and its fine. I dont know what the problem is.

Just thought id let you guys know i figured out what is cuasing the problem i had and how to fix it. Get a 3rd party album art grabber and disable getting album art through sense. Its been working great so far and no random restarts!!!!!!
