Convert 2D movies to 3D with Wondershare!!

I stumbled upon this late last night trying to figure out how to get all of my movies into 3D format just so I could put them on my phone. By far one of the best conversion softwares out!! I pulled the trigger and bought the software and have not regretted making the purchase at all!! They do offer a trial period, tho I don't know what the trial periods capabilities are.

All I do is pop in my DVD, use the software to find it and add it to the list, select the 3d format and hit start!! the software does the rest!! You can tweak it to get the correct resolution (i.e EVO) but I think its 2 separate conversions, one to convert it to that resolution and then another one to convert it into 3d. I haven't really dove into the software yet but it seems pretty straight forward to convert.

How to convert videos is pretty straight forward but there is one thing that I found out that you must do:

MAKE SURE YOU PICK THE 3D MP4 OPTION WITH THE DARK GLASSES!!! MKV DOES NOT WORK!!

Once you have the movie or movies (you can convert multiple movies too!) you can select to have it output to a folder or move it to your phone right after conversion.

I use Astro file manager to find the movie on my phone. The only thing I've found I had to do is when the movie starts playing it will show 2 screens, hit the menu button on the phone, pick show in 3D THEN hit menu AGAIN, show in 2D and FINALLY hit menu AGAIN pick SHOW IN 3D. After you pick show in 3D for the second time it will actually convert the 2 screens into one and TADAA!!!! YOU ARE FINALLY WATCHING A MOVIE THAT YOU BOUGHT 1, 2, OR 3+ YEARS AGO IN 3D!!

3D converted files are HUGE tho. I had a PSP movie that was compressed to 300mb and after the conversion it was almost 2GB!!

Handbrake will shrink it down...search the forums here and XDA...it's been posted sevreal time...

Video sync is spot on using the software. It mimics the speed of the original copy. And thanks iggyclyde, I'll try handbrake to shrink the files. Can't hit the thanks on tapatalk tho.

I dont think something originally recorded in 2D would give a true 3D effect, its kinda the same thing when one converts something that was originally in mono to stereo,its not a true effect. the same could also apply to HD conversions of original SD items and YouTube is a prime example of how that looks.

I'm quite sure that a true 3d movie uses far more sophisticated software than what I've found but it does give the 3d effect even tho its not true 3d. Think of it as 2.5D!

Thanks for posting this. I just got the program and it works! Not quite the same as a true 3d movie and the action scenes are a little hard on the eyes. the 3d conversion is still a beta so maybe it will get better. The program is easy to use and fast but the video doesnt take up the full screen. You mentioned a second conversion to the evo format, but I cant figure how to do that. Seems like you have to choose 3d OR Evo, can you elaborate what you meant, I would like to utilize the whole evo screen.
