Earpiece is good, external sucks testies. On my EVO 4G, external is the shiznit and the external blows bubbles.

The sound isn't that loud. But oh well, it's a Great phone.

Volume on a whole is horrible.. my evo 4g is louder

My first EVO 4G was loud, crisp and clear and that's both earpiece and external. My second one, the external was fine but my earpiece sucked ass and could barely make out what people were saying. My third one, the earpiece was fine and the external blew chunks.

I noticed though that the external speaker on the E3D is much smaller.

yeah as stated while talking on the phone the earpiece Volume sucks and mines turned all the way up also.

My earpiece is awsome which is Loud and sounds really good. But my external speaker is weak. It doesn't get very load and it crackles like it's vibrating. It even does this when you turn down the volume.

My EVO is the same wish the external speaker was louder as well.
