Its hard to imagine doing this in the summer w the steam.

BTW, you know your cloth carry lint when you do this? You might want to get naked.
Ok so there I was home alone in my bathroom, Naked with the shower on making steam. As I finished installing my screen protector my wife came in and thought I was a weirdo as I hovered over my EVO 3D...lol.... Thanks chong67. However I must admit this Technic works really well.

My wife thinks I'm a complete dork when it comes to my phone. She has told me if I worked as hard on our relationship as I do on my phones, we would be the best cpl in the world. I said I would but I can't change your applications and power you off....she got pissed.

Anywho....after using my OBD for a week, I cant stand the upper portion (above the earpiece) as it jabbs me in the ear and hurts. I decided to go with the Pt Platinum with holster and a Zagg SP. I'm happy with it EXCEPT the damn part line (where the two pieces come together) make it look cheap.

Re: Are you protecting your 3D with case, protective screen, etc?

I stopped using cases a few smartphones ago. Best decision ever. I don't like how they make phones look ugly/bulky/cheap. Once you get used to treating a smartphone like a high-end device, rather than a flip phone, odds are good you won't be dropping it. I treat mine like I'm walking around with a PS3. Having a case might cause me to be more rough with it since it's "protected" :/ . Then there are people who are just plain goofy lol. My friend drops her phone every other day.

That being said, if I didn't swap out my phone every 6 months to a year, I'd reconsider the whole case thing...

Re: Are you protecting your 3D with case, protective screen, etc?

Just ordered the Clear GeoTPU case from the tpu-cases (TPU-CASES.COM, - All TPU Cases Shipped Free in the USA) website a few minutes ago. Oh, and this guy gives you free shipping. This one seems to cover a majority of the phone's surface and reportedly will not collect lint. I'll let you know how I like it once it's installed.

Waiting couple more week making sure phone has no problem or in need for exchange. I am already on my second evo3d. I am getting zagg shield.

Re: Are you protecting your 3D with case, protective screen, etc?

Defender here as well.... I am a ....how would you say it... Big, rough on everything, construction type of phone geek...lmao.. I had to have something durable and rugged to last for me. This phone by itself with its sleek girlish figure is great for a woman or maybe some kind of prissy boy, but not for me. With this case its a bit more manly in appearance while having all the bells and whistles I use in a phone. For me its about the performance of the device, and this thing out performs any device I have had so far. I leave the appearance factor to my wife...lmao

I have been using tpu since the evo 4g and I love them. They are sleek and offer great protection, not to mention they allow phone to fit in a leather belt clip. When I don't use my defender case I always use a tpu case.
