Best place to buy the 3D??

I have a preorder from best buy but I hear others telling me it's cheaper elsewhere.

Re: Best place to buy the 3D??

Amazonwireless also has it for 179.99. You can ask sprint for 70.00 loyalty/renewal credit also before you upgrade.

Re: Best place to buy the 3D??

If you're buying off-contract or "outright" Amazon wireless has it for $469.00 instead of $499.00. Of course they won't ship it until June 24th, but it's still a discount.

If you're paying full price, Best Buy and Radioshack will have it for $599.00 instead of the $499.00 price tag at Sprint. So in that respect, it's cheaper practically everywhere other than those two places.

Standard upgrade price is $199.00 which will probably be the same at Best Buy, but as others have just posted in this thread, you can find it even lower than that. Especially with the loyalty/renewal credit from Sprint that was mentioned.

I'm curious about this... I've never tried this, or even heard of it. What would I have to do/say? Do I need to call Sprint for this, or just ask for it in-store? I'm getting mine from Radio Shack.

Anyway, BB (as other have already pointed out) has it for $199.99. Thing is, they often give a discount on accessories, and will install your invisibleSHIELD at no extra charge. You have to buy the shield, but they normally charge like $15 to put one on...which is ridiculous, considerinv it onlg takes a few minutes. I had them do mine, only b/c I had neved had an iS before.

Re: Best place to buy the 3D??

Bought/preordered the Evo 3D yesterday from Wirefly for $150. Got $90 for agreeing to stay w/ sprint a couple weeks ago. Can't wait to get my hands on this phone

Re: Best place to buy the 3D??

I preordered mine at BB last month. The advertised price with upgrade/new plan is $199. I stopped by yesterday and asked about their price match policy...I told them about Target's advertised price; they agreed to match Target's price of $179, provided that on launch date when they call Target to verify and they do have a phone available for that price.

Below is the link to Target Mobile Store for the 3D advertised for $179. Either print it out or have BB go directly to the link for quick reference.

Re: Best place to buy the 3D??

The thing about buying it in store is that you still have to pay tax etc. Online you pay just the 179.99 and then shipping IF you chose to have it shipped 2nd day or overnight. I wouldn't do that because ground is typically 2-3 days and chances are if it ships on friday you will probably get it the same day as you would have if you paid for 2nd day. If you aren't looking to save money (but causing yourself wait) then none of that matters...but personally I like having saved probably more than $60 on one order and then $30 on another (I ordered another for my 2nd line after sprint changed my wife's upgrade date, but after wirefly's $150 price expired).

I also found out that ordering through wirefly is no different than ordering through target wireless. They are both "powered" by Simplexity LLC and basically you are buying the phone from the same company. I would STRONGLY advise against ordering from Amazon Wireless at this time as their phones are now on backorder. I called Amazon Wireless and they said it would probably be July before I got one if I ordered today (or beyond etc).

I am not sure what all services Target Wireless offers, but my wirefly purchases seemed great. I just wish I had known about sprint chaging the upgrade dates before and I would have ordered both phones at the same time >_<.

Re: Best place to buy the 3D??

I know you say Amazon wireless might have issues now getting a phone out to you before july, but they are an option to be considered if you have Amazon Prime (remember collegiate students get Amazon Prime for free, as well as Amazon Moms [and dads]) because of the free two-day shipping or pretty cheap overnight shipping. All depending on if they have them in stock or you don't mind waiting a few weeks after release. There is no tax on those orders either which is good.

Last week they said they had them available to ship release day if I'd ordered then; a lot of people must have hit them up.

Doesn't BB charge an activation fee? If so, are they willing to waive that too since the Target ad says free activation?
