I was at the Sprint store yesterday and I talk to this sales lady. Yes, she does know about the 3D. She said it will be coming out in June. I told her about the dual processor n speed and she knows that too. She said she has only seen it on the web. She said it will be $300 w a 2 yr contract. The none 3D will still be a $200 w 2 yr contract. Ask if she would get which one, she said for her she would get the non-3D. She told me to wait and get the 3D.

What are you talking about non 3D? If so where was this talk about or mentioned? The Device has a toggle switch for 3D/2D? No offense most rep have the slightest clue on what there talking about, we geeks here no more than them!

Maybe she was simply referring to the evo 4g.

I say they making mistake calling it evo 3d as users will think 3d is the older version being that the number 3 is lessthen the number 4. Imagine if the next iphone has a 3d camera and apple called it the iphone 3d.. Wont happen

Exactly! Sprint reps will have to do a lot of explaining to the average consumer...we geek know what's going on! We like what's under the hood (specs wise) the average consumer will think the upgrade that happen was the 3D bump!

Not likely. I would think they would keep the evo 4g and discount the price somewhat. Similar to what is done when a new iPhone is released.

Well... Just like in any desktop system, more processing power is never a bad thing. I'm not sure if you've seen any of the videos from CTIA, but the sense UI and overall responsiveness was incredibly smooth -- which is a lot more than can be said for the Kyocera Echo or especially something older like the TP2.

You do know that the 2D/3D switch is only for the camera, right? The Home Screen is not actually in 3D. Only a few apps, videos, amd the camera.
