Who's buying the EVO 3D????

I fought to get gold Member status and I did by spending 89.99 each month. Anyone can become a Gold Member but will need to be on an 89.99 or more plan for 3 month so the system can generate tht ur a gold member... I really wanted the htc evo 3d but i head on june 9...sprint and motorola will announce the Motorola Photon...has dual core processor tegra..the specs are hot. Google it to get the specs.

Thanks for that. It is interesting that the GSII does so much better on the tests, only to have the reviewers say that in real life performance he doesn't see any difference. I've heard this before. Are the tests really worth anything?

To me, it was the difference in screen contrast that really stood out. There is a lot to like about the S Amoled Plus.

I think that the EVO3D is getting spanked in the benchmarks due to the higher resolution of the screen. Think about it. The same thing happens with PC game reviews. As the screen resolution goes up, the frames-per-second rendering goes down.

very true...i think the resolution should be set at the same standard to see how the phones compare to each other via raw power

but then again it also lets you see how fast the phone is going to operate with it's given resolution.

I think those that get the EVO 3D will be happy with it; it looks responsive and smooth in the videos. Even if the resolution is lowering it in the benchmarks. The scores are still good and, for me, HTC Sense makes it more sweet.

Yes. Nobody will notice a difference between the SGS2 and EVO3D in day-to-day usage. This will only show up in benchmarks.

Just got my upgrade from the HTC Hero to the Epic 4g.....BUT

Will be less then 30 days from when I got my Epic till the 3d.

So guess who already put down the money for his trade in....

While I'm not buying a 3d, I do get to be the advocate for the corporate store that I work at this is the best perk I have ever gotten from any employer. (maybe a little sad but c'mon, I get a free evo 3d!) I love htc and though the epic is a wonderful phone, I have seem so many other samsung models come in to the store with problems. The 3d functionality is a bonus to me as I am more in love with the phones core specs.
