HTC Weather Lockscreen is now available in ROM Updater...




I also fixed the Recent App pull down mod so it has the correct gingerbread icons.

Nah, didint change it. I think that there may be an XML somewhere that causes it switch to Fahrenheit just like the old WM Sense apps. I prolly would have ripped that out because I ripped out so so much, 200 Megs to be precise. Not a biggie either way. Also, look at the size of this app! 100Megs for weather! 100 MEGS!

Also, we did get 4G in FARGO! The same day they releases 2.08... Its at the intersection of i29 and i94 right now. Doesn't hit my house because I am way far south but I can get it about 2 miles away!!!!

yeah, it sets it to Fahrenheit @ \system\customize\MNS\default.xml

\system\media\weather has 53mb worth of files, where else did u remove weather?

4G, nice....someday they'll expand 4g to my neck of the woods, lol

Ok, then this is my guess onthe XML. I prolly gets initialized on first boot and sets it then becuase I looked in the ROM and its there. Thnk that is a possible theory?

As far as the other weather files.... I pulled them out /system/app

There are like close to 50 megs of weather app and what not in there. Also that estimate is based on Rosie herself because that is also gone. So I may have over exaggerated the total amount of pure weather files because adding her back in is a lot of bloat as well. But alltogether, to get a weather lock screen fully functional with Senseless it requires a 100Meg ZIP! Thats just freakin crazy!

Edit: I also pulled all files from /system/customize/resources as well. That was a bunch of un needed bloat but does not affect Weather functionality. All in all I killed 200megs off in this ROM. 100 was for lock screen and weather.
