any noob friendly instructions? Front page is somewhat confusing as to what each of the acronyms mean.

Still confused, I got one of the first Evo 3d's and my hboot is 1.5? how did people get previous versions>?

I don't like it, feels like a workaround method. Its not clear what happens if you flash a rom that includes a custom kernel. See lots of room for error here so im not messin with it. I just got got this phone and hope there is a more streamline method soon. I keep kicking myself for running the over the air update (duh). I should have learned my lesson from the evo 4g, "sigh"

I'm trying this right now but am stuck at the "goo-inside.me" site I'm trying to download the needed su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed.zip file but it just counts down from 10-0 and starts back over and repeats. The file isn't downloading. Is there a problem with the site? Also when it never prompted me to run or down load clockwork at one of the earlier steps. Any help would be great..Thanks..!!
