Exactly. I have downloaded three times already.

I have TWRP 1.03 and wiping cache/dalvik/everything before installing the zip

I have formatted System and Data as well. don't know if its causing it.

I will try formatting the SD Card as well and let you know if its resolved.

have you tried after you flash the new rom and once the home screen shows up let it sit about 10 minutes? I had another ROM in the past that had missing apps and a few of us figured out if after a new ROM was flashed to just let it sit there for around 10 and then everything was fine.

Im still on his ROM from a week ago but it still took me a minute to figure it out back then. so unless its changed in this newest ROM, camera>menu> then scroll all the way down and you'll see it.

Re: [ROM] OMJ's HTC EVO 3D Custom ROMs | 2.08.651.2 | 2.3.4 | Updated *8/20/11*

I'm seeing a lot of conflicting info on flashing the Stock OTA or flashing a custom ROM.
My 3D is rooted but no custom ROM installed, it's stock.
I've tried installing the OTA but once it reboots I get the Triangle with apostrophe and it just sits there. I have to pull the battery.

I would like to do the stock OTA and then re-root and proceed. But if there is a better way, please let me know. For some reason I can't get the Stock OTA to install. Not sure why...

there is no conflicting issues "flashing the stock OTA is a no no if you want to stay and keep your handset rooted. If you flash the stock OTA you will lose root access and there is no method to re-root other that HTC. So the choice is yours, you can ignore all the materials about not to do it and then come back complaining but all you will get is a good laugh.....on a serious not stay with the rom you have or get a stock one that is rooted.
hope this helps.

Im pretty sure your already aware of this but just in case, Video chat is going nuts. Defaults on rear camera and is upside down as well plus the picture going does not transmit and all i get receiving is static.

I can't flash the stock ROM at all. The OTA doesn't work. The phone locks up.

Here is the link to what I was planning to do if the OTA updated. But it hasn't...

How to Root Evo 3D! [2.08.651.2 and Later] [HTC Unlock Method] | HTC Evo 4G Hacks!

Is the HTC rooting method a bad method? Why is it different than the root method from a month ago or so?
