when i try and flash the prl update, renamed to "update.zip" in Clockwork Recovery, it immediately says "installation aborted", any ideas?

if i'm running OMJ's v1.1 with 2.3.3, can I just flash to OMJ v2.0 with 2.3.4? or are there radio updates that I need?

you flash prl from settings menu
CWM has always been an issue from day one, thats the verdict across many forums

please read, the op said if you want to run the latest rom you need the firmware update minus the hboot....

it's not a prl update, it's pri...I assume you're trying to flash PG86IMG_radio_pri.zip?

u dont rename to update.zip & flash from recovery. you need to rename to PG86IMG.zip & flash from bootloader

coming from 2.3.3 u should wipe everything & yes there is radio updates that should be updated.

if you flash ANY 2.08 ROM you should update the firmware, just make sure it's the modified version w/o the new hboot, but read this post FIRST!

PG86IMG_2.08.651.2_firmware_nohboot.zip

rename to PG86IMG.zip, flash from bootloader

I am getting an error trying to update to this rom. I have flashed the firmware but when
trying to update the rom I get the message

"E: can't open /tmp/sideload/package.zip
(bad) "

I have wiped all data and cache.

Any ideas?

that's a recovery error, I've seen it at various times trying to flash various files. which recovery version r u using? the latest is 1.0.3....also try going back to main menu, then back into installing zip...

updated to latest version of recovery (twrp). Rewiped all data and cache. Same error.
Any other ideas?
