Have you tried Ziggy's 2.17 Kernel? I have just flashed it to test since I have been having bootloops/RR with Anthrax kernel. From others experience with it, it is reporting to be more stable with slightly less performance than Anthrax with better battery life. Its hard to find but I have a copy. Ill give it a good testrun for a few days and see just how stable it really is. It has adjustable OC and UV, but the voltage tables are not standard as this kernel allows voltage change per CPU. I dont think Ziggy is officially supporting it as there is no changelog or information. Seems to have been built for Virus over at infectedrom.com for Eternity rom line.

nope, haven't tried ziggys...I'm satisfied w/ Freezas but definitely let us know what you think after a few days.

of course I'd love that. or at least the file I could flash so I can use it on this ROM if other people prefer it NOT be included. I tried v4.0.3 OTA a few days ago and it froze while rebooting and would never unfreeze. maybe that's the wrong one since I don't understand what OTA is.

Leeroid tweaks is alright if folks like it .. I did use it in the past didn't like it lol. Tho that's just me.. OMJ why you removing the whole rom?

He's removing the ROM with the Anthrax kernel since its been only problems.

ok, I flashed LeeDroidTweaks_CDMA_v4.0.3_newOTA.zip w/ no problems...I did however incorporate the hotspot_fix first. So either your issue was not having the hotspot fix or u flashed the wrong file.

When he says OTA, he is referring to the 2.17 OTA. It appears he has a version of 4.0.3 that was based on 2.08, and this one which is based on the new OTA.

flashing this mod will cause you to lose all the colored icons I added, along w/ the battery icons I use.

I'm going to keep Leedroid Tweaks on my phone, but I'll be modifying the appropriate files to get my icons back :)

one thing I noticed is I'm now getting FC's for HTC Music....not sure why, no big deal to me, I just use Google Music

I think it might be beats engendered.. if your ROM doesn't have the beats files that might be why
