Getting files off incredible...with broken screen

My wife has an Incredible. She fell and cracked the screen. The phone appears to be working okay, however you just can not see anything on the screen. We have submitted a claim for a new phone, and now I am trying to figure out how to get pictures off the phone before returning it.

When I connect the phone to the computer, it does not recognize it as a 'removable drive'. My guess is this is because the phone is in 'modem' mode or 'Charge only' rather than USB drive mode.

Is there any way to get the computer to recognize the phone as a drive? Keeping in mind I can not change the setting using the screen??

Any chance the screen will still register touches? When you plug it in the Disk Drive option is pretty much dead center. My first idea would be to try tapping there and hoping for the best.

The screen was still registering touches.

I received the replacement phone, and noted on the new phone where on the old screen to touch to reset the phone to the Disk Drive Option. Ended up working after a few attempts. Thank God.
