Re: Sending pics through MMS. Messaging makes pics extremely small (like 5kb)

Camera quality settings are at max. It doesn't matter what size it is set at, the messaging app still downsizes it to a thumbnail size. MMS max send size is already sent to 1.2MB. Its not the camera, and after searching I found there is no setting in there for image send resolution like the TP2 has. Now, if I send an image from my phone to the Eris, it will show up as a large image only slightly compressed but stil large. Then I can forward that same image back to my TP2 and it wil show up un-changed, like I sent it. Its when you attach a NEW image to an MMS message , is when it will degrade it to thumbnail size.

I know some of you out there have to have this probem as well. My bro-in-law has an Eris and its doing the same thing on his.

I'll look up Handcent and see if it does any better than the stock MMS. This is ridiculous!
