Re: MR2 Update is out! 1.17

lately her phone stays online (mobile network) without losing the network connection (her GTalk stays online, doesn't lose connectivity) , the signal is usually not 3G because of where we live but it's at least staying online (wihtout draining the batterey going from 3G on and off) .

now if only my Droid didn't start losing it's battery 100% while turned OFF overnight all of the sudden and if I could send Picture Messages , all would be well around my house, now that her Eris' is fine , i have my 1st Droid issues ....

if it was new she had no choice but to *228 it. it activates the phone, also you can download the updated roaming list. also sometimes it will fix the radio problems

Re: MR2 Update is out! 1.17

I have a TP2 so this doesn't really matter to me... However, CNET posted this 9hrs ago...
HTC: Hero, Droid Eris getting Android 2.1 update

Just thought all of you would think it was interesting.

Droid messaging issues - to solve in the Droid forums

yes , i don't SMS or send pictures via messaging very often, so the default apps are fine - if only the pic mails wouldn't have started to fail (sending pictures via messaging , the message report detail output = "pending") , have to look into this on the Droid forums.

it started a couple of weeks ago , b4 then , no issues sending pictures .

on other message related issue - sometimes i get SMS messages - maybe they are considered picture mail messages - messages which you get a "download" button to recieve the message content, these usually fail - when hitting download, nothing happens, then after a few days, the message will finally come thru (you can see the entire content) - doesn't matter if Wi-Fi or 3G is used to attempt to "download" the message ...

so something has made messaging on the Droid freak out ...
