Oh, well he said "the infamous 'my car charger ate my phone' syndrome." and "From reading around, it looks like a car charger problem (and the timeline matches, too)." so I assumed it was a known issue or something.

I was reading this thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=91418 and someone mentioned the car charger issue. So I googled "htc diamond activesync car" (or something like that) and a bunch of treads came up on the topic. Hence my assumption about the ubiquity of the problem.

I didn't mean to spread a message of doom or anything
