Re: The Diamond and Car GPS Issues
Ok, I think I've figured this out.
You want to use the stand-alone as your speakerphone, right? My reading of this article: http://www.marketnews.ca/LatestNewsH...October26.html leads me to believe that you could just put the Diamond into a dash mount and use it that way. |

Re: The Diamond and Car GPS Issues
hey folks,
I can confirm the my diamond will not connect to the garmin nor the magellan, at least not the models I'm looking at (in my price range). Bushrod, yup, thats the law we have here now. What complicates things, I don't believe I will get a ticket, but I know my wife will, and she has another phone (a samsung). I was hoping the standalone GPS would connect to both phones but they won't connect to either. seems the speakerphone is what I need. Perhaps in a few more years there will be more of a 'standard' out there for bluetooth, GPS units and cells. |

Re: The Diamond and Car GPS Issues
Someone didn't read the first post very well. It's kind of a law (stupid, I know).

Re: The Diamond and Car GPS Issues
I read the first post and get the law, but I'm wondering what connecting the phone to the GPS is going to accomplish.
