I read somewhere that the Hero is hitting Sprint October 11. Who knows if that's true or not. You know how the internet can be sometimes. I'm kinda interested in this phone as well although I also read that the OS is great but the hardware struggles to keep up. I may not get into the Android game with this device but I'll sure give it a spin at the Sprint store when they get it. Unless of course it's an 'Everything' phone. Then Sprint can stick it. I'm not giving them any more money that I give them now. I've got a plan with 3 lines sharing 700 minutes and we don't even come close to using them all. With my current configuration I figure I'll only have to pay 5 bucks more a month to get the BIS plan with a Curve (once I ditch my regular data/texting add-ons) so paying 40 more for the Everything Family plan is not happening.

So back to topic, the Hero DOES look like a cool phone. October 11. ha!

D2 or the Hero if it comes sans chin.

What I'd really love is a WebOS device without a physical keyboard. Something very much like the Pre, but without the keyboard. Maybe a hair thinner and taller.

i have ben wanting to look this one up. all i can say is that if it has similar to better specs than the hero and if i hear that they ported a full featured hero rom with sense ui on this puppy it will be an instant KO win and ill get one for sure. can you say AMOLED? but its an instinct so i may be skeptical also...

Wiki says Hero is coming to sprint on Oct 11

more then likely i'll stick with my Diamond for another year or so, then move on to a future Android device.

I have to buy the next Ipod Touch (which is being announced on sept 9th) insted.
