Re: Diamond Owners - Whats your next phone?

I'm also with sprint and had the TP and Diamond. I moved to the Diamond and gave the TP to my spouse, who loves it.

I like how thin and small the diamond is, I can have it in my pant pocket with not problem. I use the dpad a lot.

I miss having more storage. Maxed out the storage on the hard drive, since a lot of my programs don't install to the built-in internal storage.

Miss having a removable storage card to carry more media.

I would like to get the Diamond2, if it where available. I like the new UI, the bigger screen and to have an sd card, and yet have it a small enough device to fit in my pocket.

If I have no other choice, I will either stick with the diamond, or get my spouse the new TP2 and see if I'll snag it, in case I like it.

Am I the only one that has a huge problem with the D-pad? I used the D-pad all the time on the mogul and XV6700 but the Diamond I end up always clicking the screen. I would NEVER be able to play tetris on the diamond like my old htc phones. Not that tetris is important just a program that used the D-pad.

My next phone...

The Pre if they take it off the everything plans, and allow it on Sero.

If not, I'll get the Diamond 2... or stick with the diamond for ever

Re: Diamond Owners - Whats your next phone?

I think there was a thread recently about using the zoom wheel as a d-pad.

Re: Diamond Owners - Whats your next phone?

Well lets see..I had the pre..was nice. but felt very cheap to me..the only thing i liked was pandora...so I returned it..

Have had touch pro, treo800w,treo pro, bb curve, original touch,,mogul, ppc,6700..

outside of the original touch..the diamond has never let me down..with my mugen extended batt.. and the 30 dollar htc case from best buy..i have the perfect combo..

the touch pro 2 does look nice..and will prolly get one.

But at the moment. im sticking with my diamond.+ bb curve..have a nice combo here..

plus im tired of being a phone *****,lol im gonna sit back and force myself to enjoy what i have for a bit.. cause for the moment the diamond can do pretty much anything and everything that can be done..and with the extended batt im not tied to a cord...

Is this the battery you got?
I got this one and the battery life is awesome but its soooo freakin ugly!!
I hate carring it around for just day to day use.
I pretty much only use it for listening to pandora or watching movies.

Re: Diamond Owners - Whats your next phone?

I might consider getting a hero, but the screen resolution and speed concern me. Didn't think I was going to need a 3.5mm jack before buying my diamond, but now is see it as a must.
